"I want to capture emotions. I want them to look at these photographs ten years from now and remember what they felt on that special moment."
Alvin Paul Yao believes in the power of emotions ever since he first held his DSLR camera given by his parents back in October 2010. His instant love for photography motivated him to shoot festivals, portraits of friends and events out of his own expense.
By the summer of 2011, AP Yao was invited by Jonathan Neri, a professional photographer of Cagayan de Oro, to cover a wedding---an event which fueled his passion to take more photographs of smiles, tears of joy, laughter and bliss in moments that truly matter.
AP Yao is currently freelancing under the wings of Roger Lactao and Jonathan Neri. He is also a photojournalist for The Crusader Publication of Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan and the Documentary Head for the university's Development Communication Society.
